Most Valued Members ewong 6 Posted October 25 Most Valued Members Share Posted October 25 Hi, I'm moving from a Windows based PROTECT server to a Linux one (as the Windows system is a little overwhelmed). While I've followed the instructions as stated in https://help.eset.com/protect_install/10.1/en-US/prerequisites_server_linux.html?component_installation_server_linux.html, there were a few changes that I had to make, particularly the Tomcat installation part had the old tomcat7 installed when I required tomcat9. (Note: in https://help.eset.com/protect_install/10.1/en-US/prerequisites_server_linux.html?component_installation_webconsole_linux.html, for CentOS, yum install tomcat installs version 7. Anyway, after putting the era.war in the webapps directory, I tried to log in but got the following error: Quote *version: 10.1.277.0* *locale: en_US* *user.agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; Win64; x64; rv:91.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/91.0 SeaMonkey/2.53.17.1 (gecko1_8)* *document: http://192.168.0.108:8080/era/webconsole/B2D1F71FD22B49AAFA6C259B9A28273B.cache.html* *url: http://192.168.0.108:8080/era/webconsole/* *error:* An uncaught exception has occurred! Anyway, might anyone have any idea of what this issue is caused by? I have installed the following: Server: 10.1.2270.0 Agent: 10.1.2272.0 (x86-64) Webconsole: 10.1.277.0 Tomcat: 9.0.82.0 CentOS: 7.2.1511 Any help appreciated. Thanks Ed

Most Valued Members ewong 6 Posted October 30 Author Most Valued Members Share Posted October 30 I think I found out what the problem was. SeaMonkey and some old version of Firefox isn't compatible to the webconsole. Using a newer version of Firefox 'avoided' the error.
