I just upgraded to Ubuntu 23.04

Eset Nod32 is not starting up.

I tried to start it manually and getting the error: Segmentation Fault

Any idea ?

Just a precision - this is the complete message when I started it manually

/opt/eset/esets/bin/esets_gui --autostart
Gtk-Message: 11:55:10.132: Failed to load module "appmenu-gtk-module"
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

I don't find the module...

Please raise a support ticket for help with further troubleshooting. Just to make sure, do you use ESET Endpoint Antvirus for Linux or ESET File Security for Linux? What version?

23.04

I believe it isn't supported

Quote

Ubuntu 23.04 is shipped with the new 6.2 Linux kernel

22.04 have kernel 5.15 which is the latest version that is supported by endpoint linux.

I have stopped using ESET for Linux and I will return to the very stable CLAMAV...

And ESET Nod32 is no more supported since fall 2022 !

Same here with Fedora 38 and GNOME 44.

Different gtk module, same result: the gui won't start.

/opt/eset/esets/bin/esets_gui
Gtk-Message: 18:01:20.907: Failed to load module "pk-gtk-module"
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
