Peter H 0
I have the same problem as what was already discussed here (https://forum.eset.com/topic/23561-gradle-daemon-does-not-execute-build-with-eset-endpoint-security/) and fixed. Running MacOS Ventura, ESS 6.11.606.0. I can use gradle in terminal, but then it doesn't work in IntelliJ IDE. If I kill gradle daemon started in terminal, it works in the IDE. Disabling the ESS firewall fixes the problem. ESS firewall logs "No usable rule found" for UDP traffic between two ports on 127.0.0.1. There IS an implicit rule in the firewall ruleset that should allow this traffic. I also added my own rule (allow all TCP&UDP within 127.0.0.1), but that didn't help. Administrators Solution Marcos 4,714 Posted November 15, 2022 Administrators Solution Share Posted November 15, 2022 Does switching the firewall to interactive mode for a while and creating the necessary rules help?
Peter H 0
This seems to have helped, although for some reason I can't see these newly created rules in the firewall configuration dialog.
