Gradle Daemon does not execute Build with Eset Endpoint Security

Our developers on MacOs have reported a problem with the gradle daemon =>

Is there any other way than to disable the firewall / go into interactive mode?

Try installing ESET Endpoint Security 6.8.711 from here: https://forum.eset.com/files/file/24-eea_osx_en_0dmg/ and let us know if helped.

Hi @Marcos,
The build indeed works for mentioned case.
However, there is no mention of firewall anywhere in the beta version, as seen in attached screenshots.

Is the firewall removed overall, or just hidden in this version?

Hello, the build you have installed is in fact ESET Endpoint Antivirus, which compared to ESET Endpoint Security does not have Firewall in it. Now the question is, whether it is due to the FW not being present, or the actual beta helping to address the issue. Maybe @Peter Randziak who shared the build can comment further.

as MichalJ mentioned, the ESET Endpoint Antivirus as product of lower tier does not have firewall at all, so based on that info we are not able to say if the fixes in the new version helped to resolve the issue.

We have an RC version 6.9.60, please try the behavior with ESET Endpoint Security of that version, it is available at http://ftp.nod.sk/~mego/RC/6.9.60/ees_osx_en_0.dmg and let us know the results.

What is the timeline for the actual release?

This issue impacts our developers and disabling firewall is not a perfect solution here.
