How can we handle? At your own risk if you decide the file is not malicious, you can create an Eset real-time detection exclusion for the file. Then restore the file from Eset Quarantine. 3 hours ago, Faizan said: Also what incase suspect malicious file that’s undetected by ESET but flagged by other AV vendors. Refer to "How to submit Suspicious file to ESET Research Lab via program GUI." in this forum's FAQ section.
Faizan 0
what is the response time after submission of sample ? and how quickly it would take you to release an emergency AV definitions file that suppresses the false positive detection.? The response time may vary from minutes to days or you may not receive a response if more information is not needed, if the submitted file is irrelevant, etc.
Faizan 0
Can we submit the sample for analysis through Web console?
Administrators Solution Marcos 5,277 Posted September 1 Administrators Solution Share Posted September 1 You can submit samples via email (see https://support.eset.com/en/kb141) or via the built-in submission system.
Faizan 0
Aside from submitting the application via email, it can be submitted through the end user product only. However, it would be more convenient to have the option to submit it through the console as well, especially since end user devices are sometimes located in remote locations and may not be accessible to administrators.
