  1. This seems to have helped, although for some reason I can't see these newly created rules in the firewall configuration dialog.
  2. I have the same problem as what was already discussed here (https://forum.eset.com/topic/23561-gradle-daemon-does-not-execute-build-with-eset-endpoint-security/) and fixed. Running MacOS Ventura, ESS 6.11.606.0. I can use gradle in terminal, but then it doesn't work in IntelliJ IDE. If I kill gradle daemon started in terminal, it works in the IDE. Disabling the ESS firewall fixes the problem. ESS firewall logs "No usable rule found" for UDP traffic between two ports on 127.0.0.1. There IS an implicit rule in the firewall ruleset that should allow this traffic. I also added my own rule (allow all TCP&UDP within 127.0.0.1), but that didn't help.
