Installing eset Endpoint on Debian 11.5

Recommended Posts

Goodnight. Query: What are the correct steps to install Debian Endpoint on Linux Debian 11.5, Mate environment on 64-bit? Although I have read that it is not compatible, but I do not understand why the installer appears *.deb, a file format compatible with Debian. Besides, he carried out several tests in a virtual machine and managed to install it on Debian Mate 11.5, but the program's graphical interface fails, and I don't know if the real-time protection works. Does anyone know how to verify this option if it is activated by Terminal command?

Unfortunately Debian is not a supported Linux distribution according to https://help.eset.com/eeau/9/en-US/?system_requirements.html

  • Ubuntu Desktop 18.04 LTS 64-bit
  • Ubuntu Desktop 20.04 LTS
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7, 8 with supported desktop environment installed.
  • SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 15
