DJ007 0
Good day, Please may you help me. I have a problem with ESET service stopping and starting every second. Reboot fixes the problem for few days. I have noticed that the service has problems after an update. I looked at the Windows eventlog for the first ESET service stop event and it coincides with the date on the update files lastupd.ver, mod.ver and upd.ver I have attached the ESET Log Collector's logs efsw_logs.zip
Administrators Marcos 5,243 Posted February 17, 2021 Administrators Share Posted February 17, 2021 Any attachments in the forum are available only to ESET staff. I'd recommend creating an ekrn dump using Procdump; run "procdump -ma -e ekrn" and provide it to us when generated. I'd also recommend creating a support ticket with your local ESET distributor so that the case is properly tracked.

ESET Moderators Peter Randziak 1,160 Posted March 3, 2021 ESET Moderators Share Posted March 3, 2021 Hello @DJ007, in the ESET GUI to to Advanced setup -> Tools -> Diagnostics, set dump type to full and save the settings. Once the ESET service crashes again, it will write a diagnostics dump. Once done, collect the logs by means of ESET Log Collector, upload them to a safe location and send me a private message with download details with a reference to this forum topic to check it. Regards, Peter
