my usb become corrupt

Hy there,

i purchase a new USB flash of Toshiba company which is well reputed company so i choose this USB. 

but now, i am facing an issue about my USB all the files are corrupt, i want to format my usb but my device says to me that i am unable to format.

even i installed ESET Anti virus to clean it from all the virus but i failed.

is there any one who can tell me what is the reason behind it and what is the solution to recover my USB Flash

The fact that files on the drive are corrupt and the drive can't be formatted would be indicative of a faulty USB drive.

Rather than fooling around trying to find and correct if possible the issue, I would just return the drive for refund or replacement with another USB drive.

The question is if other flash USB drives work alright. It could be a hw issue with the USB hub or some sw  issue with the OS.
