The website was reported to breach legal terms by a local distributor

Hi,

 

Just browsing the forum and I found this  answer to a question "why a website is blocked"

 

ESET is supposed to block websites based on recognized security risks for customers , not based on a "report by a local distributor"

 

"Breeching legal terms" is rather  a job for local police that for an antivirus....

Hello,

besides blocking malicious websites, we reserve the right to block websites publishing leaked licenses, ESET cracks, sellers breaching legal terms and rules who jeopardize business of legal sellers, etc.

Having said that, we'll draw this topic to a close as the question has been fully answered.
