Tutek 0 Posted February 8, 2020 Posted February 8, 2020 Hi, I have deleted built-in endpoint antivirus policy for windows workstation that was in ESMC console, this was policy with highest secure settings, is any way to download it from eset, or restore?
Administrators Marcos 5,451 Posted February 8, 2020 Administrators Posted February 8, 2020 I've exported the policy and uploaded it here for you: https://forum.eset.com/files/file/19-antivirus-maximum-securitydat/
Tutek 0 Posted February 10, 2020 Author Posted February 10, 2020 (edited) Hi Marcos, imported your file but policy didn't show? I need policy "antivirus protection - maximum security" for Eset Endpoint for Windows, actual clients version are 7.2.2055.0. Maybe because I use other language in ESMC than english? thanks Edited February 10, 2020 by Tutek
ESET Staff MartinK 384 Posted February 10, 2020 ESET Staff Posted February 10, 2020 In case you imported policy it will be considered as "custom" not as "predefined" so it will be shown in different section on policies screen. Regarding original issue, executing installer repair (manually) might return policy but I have not tested it.
Tutek 0 Posted February 10, 2020 Author Posted February 10, 2020 (edited) ok thank you, found imported policy in custom policies. Edited February 10, 2020 by Tutek
Tutek 0 Posted February 11, 2020 Author Posted February 11, 2020 I have problem, uploaded policy are not applied to endpoint clients. Policy is applied to dynamic group "windows workstations" and I have in this policy configured in Firewall section" to allow rules of windows firewall, but when I log in to any client this settings in grayed out (disabled).
Administrators Marcos 5,451 Posted February 11, 2020 Administrators Posted February 11, 2020 Works for me. For a test try assigning the policy directly to the client where the policy was not allegedly applied.
