Alex_26 0
Good afternoon. Faced such a problem. Installed, ESET Security Management Center version 7.0. Windows 10, Eset endpoint security antivirus version 7.0.2100.4, is installed on the computer. When I upgrade the agent version 7.0.577.0 to the new version 7.1.717.0, the agent stops working with the center.
Administrators Marcos 5,231 Posted November 15, 2019 Administrators Share Posted November 15, 2019 The upgrade should be seamless. What errors show up in C:\ProgramData\ESET\RemoteAdministrator\Agent\EraAgentApplicationData\Logs\status.html or trace.log?
Alex_26 0
The fact is that the agent works, but not completely. When we create a task to request a configuration, the task runs, but the contents of the user configuration do not open. (Error: Could not load configuration. Internal CE: Could not read input json request). files.rar Edited November 15, 2019 by Alex_26
ESET Staff MartinK 383 Posted November 15, 2019 ESET Staff Share Posted November 15, 2019 It is recommended to use latest version of ESMC (Server + Webconsole) prior to upgrade of AGENTs to avoid such smaller compatibility issues. In other words, ESMC Server is compatible with older AGENTs (all V6 and V7 can connect to latest ESMC 7.1) but it might not work vice-versa. In this case, format of exported configuration has changed and is not understandable by older ESMC. Once you upgrade to ESMC 7.1, exported configurations will be accessible, even those that are currently not, so it has no impact on data-loss or other "management" operations. To be more precise, this is the only one incompatibility we do know
