Accessing ERA with a domain account credential

Recommended Posts

Dear All,

Kindly confirm if it is possible to disable the admin account on a ERA web console while it possible to access it with a domain credential account or user created account

Please kindly suggest a way to go about it

Thanks

No, it is not possible to disable "Administrator" account. What is recommended is to secure the Administrator account with strong password, stored in a secured place. In case anything goes wrong with ESMC / ERA, it´s the only account that might be able to resolve the problems.

You have to configure "mapped domain security groups". It won´t work for individual user, but It will work for the security groups.

Then you can login by writing "domain\username" + checking the box "login into the domain" on the login screen.
