My rule is not working?

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I am checking my connections with TCPView by Microsoft Sysinternals

If a process is listening then the app is phoning home right?

Then why C:\Program Files (x86)\NVIDIA Corporation\NetService\NvNetworkService.exe continues phoning home if I blocked by firewall?

Thanks

Came

That doesn't mean that any inbound or outbound communication of the process wouldn't be blocked by the firewall. As long as the service is running, it will be in the listening state regardless of whether the firewall blocks the communication or not.
