jems 4 Posted March 31, 2018 Share Posted March 31, 2018 Just downloaded 11.1.42.1. Seems my smart scan is not working right OR i have to re-configure. Smart scan only taking about 10 seconds after download, so i figure something wrong here. How do i have smart scan working like it should - that is, i thought smart scan done the thinking for me. A quick default scan. I know for in depth scan - select, hilite PC, etc. im ok there. and i rely on in-depth. But S. Scan is a quickie, i thought. If you enable logging of all scanned objects in the Smart scan profile setup and then run a smart scan, are there any folders or files that are not logged and thus were not scanned? What did you do incorrectly? I'm asking because @TomFace reported a similar issue in https://forum.eset.com/topic/15011-incomplete-in-depth-scan/ so your findings may be valuable.
