zigfridus 0
Hello I installed ESET Mail Security (esets.i386.fbs9.tgz.bin) at my FreeBsd 9.3 machine. It should work with sendmail. But after email scanned it doesn't save any emails to the /var/mail/_user_ file. Even clean emails. And there aren't any errors in log file: Feb 1 16:07:14 test sm-mta[886]: w11E7EKq000886: from=<admin@domain.com>, size=1196, class=0, nrcpts=1, msgid=<OF3541F860.CC84B8F5-ONC2258227.00384C4E-C2258227.004D92E2@domain.com>, proto=ESMTP, daemon=IPv4, relay=[192.168.10.1] Feb 1 16:07:14 test esets_daemon[884]: summ[03740301]: vdb=36254, agent=mda, name="from: admin@domain.com to: val@test.domain.com with subject 55 dated Thu, 1 Feb 2018 16:07:18 +0200 ", virus="is OK", action="", info="", avstatus="clean", hop="accepted" Feb 1 16:07:14 test esets_mda[888]: summ[03780000]: action="accepted" Feb 1 16:07:14 test sm-mta[887]: w11E7EKq000886: to=<val@test.domain.com>, delay=00:00:00, xdelay=00:00:00, mailer=local, pri=31420, dsn=2.0.0, stat=Sent Sendmail without antivirus works fine. How can I resolve this problem? Thanks Edited February 2, 2018 by zigfridus
ESET Moderators foneil 342 Posted February 1, 2018 ESET Moderators Share Posted February 1, 2018 We have an Online Help topic related to configuring Mail Security with Sendmail, can you review that and see if that helps: http://help.eset.com/ems_linux/4/en-US/setting_esets_sendmail.html

I configured my Sendmail and Eset according that manual. Unfortunately it didn't resolve my problem with email saving. Do you have any other idea how can I fix it? Thanks P.S. I added full log to my first post. It wasn't complete before.
zigfridus 0
Some update to my previous message. At first I set up Sendmail and Eset only for "Inbound email message scanning". This configuration of Sendmail doesn't save emails. Now I set it up using "Bi-directional email message scanning" and now Sendmail can save emails. I have one more question. How can I set up Eset to redirect messages with spam or virus to some mailbox? Thanks
ESET Moderators foneil 342 Posted February 2, 2018 ESET Moderators Share Posted February 2, 2018 Afaik, you can set up notifications of spam and threat messages to send to a mailbox but I'm not sure it can redirect spam- or threat-flagged messages to another mailbox.
