Run command task

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

I have a few questions about the "run command task"

1. What is the criteria for running this task?

2. Does the computer got to have the Eset remote administrator agent?

3. What can I do on a computer that still does not have the agent?

4. Best ways to install remotely the agent on computers in the network? (Agent Deployment doesn't work)

Thank you,

Daniel

1, There are no special criteria for running a "Run command" task.

2, Yes, a computer must have agent installed and it must report to ERAS.

3, Install agent on the computer.

4, You can either deploy Live agent installer via group policy, directly from ERAS or by any other means or you can use the ERA Remote Deployment tool to install a package using a built-in deployment method or psexec:

What I meant is that in order for the command to work I must have the agent installed on the computer.

but what's more interesting is the picture you have sent. ("ERA Remote Deployment tool") seems like I can't find it or I don't have it. Where can I find it?

It is available in ESET's official page in download section as standalone installer.
