ESET Staff MartinK 383 Posted November 22, 2016 ESET Staff Share Posted November 22, 2016 During server-assisted installation, peer certificate fetched from SERVER should be stored in directory C:\DOCUME~1\ADMINI~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\EsetRemoteAdminAgent\. Could you check whether this directory is present after you accept SERVER's certificate and before you rollback failed installation?

ESET Staff MartinK 383 Posted November 23, 2016 ESET Staff Share Posted November 23, 2016 From log is seems that system call PFXImportCertStore failed because of missing permissions to create directory. It is not visible which directory it is, but this type of calls mostly created temporary cert store in system directories. Are you installing it with administrator? Does this issue occur on multiple machines? Could you try to run it as local Administrator? If it won't help, Process Monitor logs may help us to find out what resources are not accessible. Relevant error from installation log is: PFXImportCertStore failed with The directory or file cannot be created. Error code: 0x52'. Path provided - 'C:\DOCUME~1\ADMINI~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\EsetRemoteAdminAgent\peercert.pfx' where I expect that mentioned file exists.
