At this point I am scratching my ? ! Nothing new anywhere. Firefox has nothing new that I am aware of, it happens with IE 11 also. I use Clipmate as my clipboard replacement and no updates there. That is the reason I asked about forum settings as I thought there may be something there, but it happened on two forums. Not looking at Windows 10 yet Happiness is Windows any version !!

I wanted to know if my settings being gray out was causing a problem posting. I was on a different form and my problem showed up there also. Just frustrated that it may be a Windows 10 problem, again, I will have to look deeper than a forum problem. Sorry

If I cannot change my settings, this forum is useless to me and thus Eset. Something is screwed up and if I cannot get help here !! I will not use a software company that plays games eset has not gotten the best reviews.

If I have been banned, no idea why, I will dump this program in a heartbeat. There are other security around that have gotten better ratings than Eset.

Since my last post there is gone. Don't know if this is a forum or my problem. I cannot get to my forum settings. It is grayed out under my User Name at the top.

Seems like my reply posts include some previous text and I was trying to find the cause and can't get into my settings.

Didn't happen on a full scan so will wait through the scheduled scans.

Marcos, if I can find where I set the scan up, I will try.

I excluded the path. I think it is a false positive.

Windows 10 Pro updated. Every scan gets hung and the only way to clear to reboot. The folder involved is one that Win 10 really protects.

From what I have been reading they are/have been trying to catch up, but these forums are not the place to post a problem because of this, they should be by a direct ticket to support who are involved with the situation. The people on these forums are looking for support that has nothing to do with any BETA problems for any programs. They are here for REAL software problems that they encounter when using a program.

Years ago beta builds were not open to the masses. They used people that knew computers and could help a company work through early problems. Then have open betas for some of us to test. Now the "testers" are out in the wild complaining about problems that Microsoft created. I am sure companies like Eset do have people working with the betas, but I don't like wasting my time reading your posts about beta problems. There are MUCH MORE IMPORTANT PROBLEMS POSTED THAN YOURS. In short I don't believe that companies like Eset should have to fix problems with Microsoft products that are put out before they WORK. To paraphrase you 'I'd like them' to go away.

I like to post, only if I am sure that I have the correct answer or something constructive about it. This stuff being one of them. I watch a bunch of forums besides my security program ones, every one has people complaining about problems with MS beta builds. In the past most users would wait for final builds before using a security program. I went through this problem between XP and 7 when everyone was going nuts with the upgraded os. This is not the fault of security programs. It is the fault of MS and therefore the people that complain on the forums for using beta programs. I had problems with the last two Win 10 upgrades. I searched the net for answers and found them. The last problem with 1607 disappeared with the latest patch form MS.

Stop complaining about BETA programs. It is your own fault for running them. In other words GET LOST. I am very tired reading about problems with using MS BETA builds. You should know better if you had any brains. ESET should block MS BETA users.

If I am correct, a ddos attack doesn't even get to your network. The isp gets overloaded trying to connect. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Windows update has been known to have problems with driver updates. My self included. I run Windows 10 on three computers and have driver updates disabled. So far I have not been "gotten". I may check for lan, wireless and video every few months, but they are not really needed. Nvidia updates their drives often, usually for games which I do not bother with. I you really feel the need to update drivers getting them from the manufacturer is always advised.

Others have had various problems with SSL protocol. I haven't been able to find the switch in version 10, yet. Check help. It is within Web & Email
