You can drop me a personal message with your license key.
-
You can enter a new license key via the program's main window, Help and support -> Change license.
-
Please provide your public license ID.

We didn't do anything. It might have been an issue with your ISP or whatever.

There's basically no difference between automatic and manually triggered update. Should the problem persist:
- enable advanced update engine and network protection logging
- reproduce the update error
- disable logging
- gather logs with ELC. -
No problems here. I've also tried a full update and update files with the total size of 144 MB were downloaded withing 30 seconds and the subsequent update process finished alright.
Should the problem persist:
- enable advanced update engine and network protection logging
- reproduce the update error
- disable logging
- gather logs with ELC. -
Please enable advanced operating system logging in the advanced setup -> Tools -> Diagnostics. Then reproduce the problem, disable logging and provide us with the etl log generated in C:\ProgramData\ESET\ESET Security\Diagnostics in a compressed form.
Do not leave the logging enabled for longer than 1-2 minutes. Should it take longer to reproduce the problem, we'll provide you with further instructions.

Please check proxy server settings and make sure they are correct. You can also try updating directly, bypassing a proxy and see if Endpoint updates then alright.

I don't think so. ESET ME will answer you any further business or license related questions.

Please provide some screen shots for clarification.

If you don't need to share files or allow remote access in your LAN, you can mark the network as public. However, normally users need to share files or allow remote access for administrators in networks so it makes sense to mark such networks as trusted regardless of the possibility of potential malware spreading through shares.

Thanks Marcos. When you said "it's possible to disable protected service", do you mean to disable 'Automatic exclusions to generate" for Microsoft SQL Server?
I meant "Protected service" in the HIPS setup. Personally I wouldn't trade protection for convenience and would rather ignore the error until Microsoft fixes the issue.

Regarding business matters please contact ESET ME via https://www.eset.com/me/.

Hard to say. If the other software uses drivers, it's possible the software might clash with ESET.

I see no where for doing this within NOD 32 itself. All instructions for reporting any type of threat should be in one centralized location. Not having this information easy to find will only hurt Eset.
The instructions are indeed at one place: https://support.eset.com/kb141/
Moreover, we link this KB article in the FAQ block on this forum as well.

For a start please provide logs collected by ESET Log Collector.

Please try the following:
1, In safe mode, rename "C:\Program Files\ESET\ESET Security\Drivers" to Drivers_bak
2, In safe mode, rename C:\Windows\System32\drivers\eamonm.sys to eamonm.bak and C:\Windows\System32\drivers\ehdrv.sys to ehdrv.bak, one at a time
3, Check if the issue persist.
At the end of the test, rename "C:\Program Files\ESET\ESET Security\Drivers_bak" to Drivers.
You can also try temporarily uninstalling EIS and installing ESET NOD32 Antivirus to find out if it makes a difference. Please let us know about your findings. -

Do you have a game by Vesta Soft LLC installed? What application accessed the url and is listed in the Filtered website log?
-
Probably that's it. Make sure the appropriate Windows update is installed.
-
Aren't you using an old Remote Administrator v5? If so, when do you plan to upgrade to ESMC? With ESMC, you'd deploy agent via GPO for instance and then just install Endpoint v7 via a software install task with a few clicks.
-
Does pausing real-time protection make a difference? If not, what about temporarily disabling HIPS and rebooting the machine?
As for the issues with upload speed, try updating from the pre-release channel that can be set in the advanced update setup and let us know if it resolves the issue.

Tap Data roaming under Audit, then tap the icon with 3 dots and then tap Disable.
