Admins could see the url if malware was detected there or if it was blocked by Web Control, etc.

Please see the section Monitoring network connections in the EEI help.
-
EI doesn't keep track of all network communications unless a specific rule has been triggered.

Please record a video for clarification.

You can check the list of sites with permissions to use camera in the Privacy and security settings in Chrome:

We have already answered above. Please let us know if you experience the issue when WMI and the registry are not selected for scan.

To my best knowledge, downloaded logs are stored in the ESET PROTECT database. Please elaborate more on what you need to examine in ELC logs from that many machines.

The website is indeed infected:

The banking trojan, which targeted mostly Brazil, Mexico and Spain, blocked the victim’s screen, logged keystrokes, simulated mouse and keyboard activity and displayed fake pop-up windows

ESET is not a remote monitoring software.
QuoteI just want to know what kind of information the IT team will have access to, including:
-
Internet history when no security alert is triggered?
No -
Internet history when a security alert is triggered?
No -
Periods of activity?
An admin will see when the management agent has recently connected to the PROTECT server. -
Other relevant things?
No
-
Internet history when no security alert is triggered?
-
Does it work if they connect directly and not through the proxy?

You can assign different policies with schedules tasks to the groups; one that would be allowed to pause or cancel scans and the other one that would not have the permissions. Only users with administrator accounts will be able to cancel scheduled scans if allowed by a policy.

At the bottom of https://support.eset.com there is a link "Contact ESET Technical support".

If you have a valid license, uninstall v12, install the latest v17.0.16 and activate it using your license. Since everything has been said and explained, we'll draw this topic to a close.

I did not get the answer
Is version 12 no longer updated?Module updates are not guaranteed once a particular version reaches EOL. V12 reached EOL in 2020 so it's normal that it cannot be updated.

Please download the installer from https://download.eset.com/com/eset/tools/installers/live_eis/latest/eset_internet_security_live_installer.exe and activate it using a trial license if you want to try it out for the next 30 days before you purchase a license or uninstall the software.

V12 reached EOL in 2020: https://support-eol.eset.com/en/policy_home/product_tables.html
It looks like a cracked version of ESET as it is a kind of a trial license which are supposed to be valid only for 30 days.
Please uninstall ESET. If you want to continue using it, purchase a license and install the latest version 17.0.16 from scratch.
-
Please check if you can reproduce it with the registry and WMI not being scanned, otherwise it's expected that the counters are refreshed not every second.

Yes, it's not possible to block just the url you want to allow but also urls from which the allowed url loads other resources from.
-
Could it be that SSL/TLS communication is scanned in your network? Is communication with ESET's servers allowed on a firewall or proxy according to https://support.eset.com/en/kb332?

Hi! There are almost 2 days since I wrote to Eset and I still don't have an answer. How long does usually take to reply?
It's hard to tell since each distributor may have a different number of tickets pending in the queue for processing. If you have a license from the Romanian distributor, you can try to reach out to them through https://www.eset.ro/suport-antivirus if you don't get a response soon.

According to the log it appears that the management agent has been replicating to the server correctly. If you are positive that you have no filters enabled and don't see those servers when you select "All" in the Computers pane, please raise a support ticket for help with further troubleshooting.
-
You could use Web Control to block all categories and create a permissive url-based rule for the urls you want to allow.
-
Unfortunately that won't help me. I'd need that file, scan it myself and possibly pass it to developers for perusal if I don't find anything obvious wrong with it. Does changing the scan limits to the maximum possible value make a difference?
