Big Bang IT 0
Client has expired ENdpoint installed from Remote Console. They tried uninstalling clients (Windows 7 Pro 64 Bit) but botched it. The ran the UNINSTALL in the ESET program group but it did not complete install. ESET still running (expired license 3/1/2016) and no ESET Program Group exists and Not in Program and Features. They then tried ESETUNINSTALLER /NOSAFEMODE - that said it uninstalled but it is still running. The ran ESETUNINSTALLER again and now get this error 03/04/2016 12:20 AM 700,104 ESETUninstaller.exe 1 File(s) 700,104 bytes 0 Dir(s) 172,758,810,624 bytes free C:\>esetuninstaller /nosafemode /force esetuninstaller 7.0.7.0 Input arguments: /nosafemode /force Online (PC booted from fixed disk) mode detected. ESET Moderators TomasP 318 Posted March 15, 2016 ESET Moderators Share Posted March 15, 2016 Hello, To use the uninstaller with the /nosafemode parameter, ESET Self-Defense has to be disabled first (which requires a restart afterwards). Administrators Marcos 5,278 Posted March 15, 2016 Administrators Share Posted March 15, 2016 Error 0x5 means access denied. Run the uninstall tool in safe mode or use the above mentioned command in normal mode after deleting C:\Windows\System32\drivers\ehdrv.sys in safe mode.
