GrantP 0 Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Hello, all. Small problem with a client running Eset Security for Kerio Connect. After an upgrade to Kerio Connect 9.0, Eset is no longer working. Yes, first thought is to call the Kerio folks, but I found this in the Eset logs - "Failed to copy ESK plugin dll to kerio server installation directory". Eset version is 4.5.16006.0, and it was running perfectly before the Kerio upgrade. Thoughts/ideas/requests for logs? TIA.
ESET Moderators Solution TomasP 319 Posted February 1, 2016 ESET Moderators Solution Posted February 1, 2016 Hello, Kerio changed some of their paths in v9, so the files won't copy correctly, as they try to copy to the previous directories. Until we have a new version which takes into account these new paths as well, you can register the plugin manually: Turn Kerio Connect service off Turn Kerio Connect registration off (ESET Security->F5->Server->Connect: Off) Copy the following dll: C:\Program Files\ESET\ESET Security\x86\avir_esk.dll to: C:\Program Files\Kerio\MailServer\plugins\avserver\Avirs\ to (create directory manually): C:\Program Files\Kerio\MailServer\plugins\Avirs\ paths may need to be updated based on Kerio installation (default paths) Edit Kerio Connect configuration file (C:\Program Files\Kerio\MailServer\mailserver.cfg) Modify the "Antivir" section so that it contains: <table name="Antivir"> <variable name="AvirEnabled">1</variable> <variable name="UsedInternal">0</variable> <variable name="UsedPlugin">avir_esk</variable> ... </table> Modify "AntivirOptions" section so that it contains: <list name="AntivirOptions"> </list> Turn Kerio Control registration on (ESET Security->F5->Server->Connect: On) Turn Kerio Control service on
