idunno 0
My mail client can't download email whenever I have the POP3 email protocol protection enabled. I use Thunderbird, but would rather not switch to a different program if it all possible. It is able to download mail fine if I disable the email protocol protection. I'm running Windows 7 Home. Thanks.
Administrators Marcos 5,286 Posted November 5, 2015 Administrators Share Posted November 5, 2015 If you have v9 installed, continue as follows: 1, restart the computer 2, open the advanced setup, navigate to Tools -> Diagnostics and enable protocol filtering advanced logging 3, launch Thunderbird and reproduce the problem 4, disable logging 5, contact Customer care and supply them with pcap files from the "C:\ProgramData\ESET\ESET NOD32 Antivirus\Diagnostics" folder as well as with the output from ESET Log Collector (hxxp://support.eset.com/kb3466/). You can also drop me a pm with the logs attached. Do you know what mail server you download email from?
