Guest Rado
Hi all, A boot time scan (without running OS) is a very helpful tool when some virus or malware could not be removed from your system. I have no solution to bring but a question: Why ESET don't have this kind of tool? For example, they can add in ERA Server a kind of "Remote boot time scan" to reboot the clients computers and scan them without running OS, they can add also a "boot time scan" in Eset Nod32 Antivirus like in Avast. This is just a thought! Best--
Administrators Marcos 5,257 Posted July 30, 2013 Administrators Share Posted July 30, 2013 ESET uses startup scans to scan objects and files run when a computer starts. This also increases the chance of catching new born malware not detected by signatures yet.
Bart 4
@Rado - there is tool for this - it's ESET Sysrescue - yep You need to have access to device but in case of emergency it's better to have something like this than nothing
