But it also listed "SEP" in the installed AV products list. I never had Symantec installed on that server. How could it detect Symantec then? ESET Moderators TomasP 316 Posted September 10, 2015 ESET Moderators Share Posted September 10, 2015 I've seen the detection pop-up sometimes, it may be caused by previous presence of pre-installed software, other software offering its installation, or presence of other (non-antivirus) products by Symantec using the same registry entries.
