ERA Clients Server not found

Hello,

Recently, I upgrade my ESET environment from 5.x to 6.x, after update ERA and ESET Endpoint Security clients I have problem with updates virus signatures.

In office all works fine, but always when client laptop is outside (have Internet connection) ESET can't update virus signatures and message Server not fount is displayed. 

Maybe I have something wrong in ERA configuration

I have no proxy server in my organisation and no proxy is configured in ESET updates policy.

 

I tried completely disable firewall - problem persists .

 

 

What is wrong?

That's probably because you update through a proxy server in the office which is not available when updating from outside of your company's network.

The solution is to set dual update profile configuration as per the instructions at hxxp://kb.eset.com/esetkb/index?page=content&id=SOLN3621.

But I haven't proxy server.

I changed proxy option server from "default browser settings" to "do not use proxy", maybe this helps..

Thanks for this KB article - i didn't know about dual update profile configuration.
