Eset no cleaning files, but reporting threats..

I have run a deep scan twice, each time it shows 7 threats. At first it popped open a window, but it did two pop ups and if you clicked OK, both windows went aways and you could not click Finish.  If I really have threats, I would like to clean them up..

I am on Mac OS 10.8.5

I am including a photo of what Eset is showing. After clicking Don't show this again, the two windows do not appear..

Please help!

We have an ESET Knowledgebase article that explains some reasons for this, as well as offers some solutions to try. The content is primarily directed to Windows OS, but most of the explanations/solutions are relevant for OS X as well.

Adding to foneil's post, you can see what threats were detected from the scan by clicking on the ESET icon in the menubar (top right of screen), going to 'Tools' and clicking on 'Log files'. Under the 'Computer scan' log, right click on the scan that has the detected threats and select 'Show'. There, you will find the location of the found threats in red text.

I can't even click on the finish, two windows open, or did, when I clicked "Do not show this window again" now they do not open anymore. But if you clicked on OK, both windows went away and you did not have the chance to click Finish...

Also if I click on the log files, filter by threats, nothing shows up..

Have you chosen 'Computer scan' instead, right clicked on the scan you made, and selected 'Show'? This is similar to what should appear, with detected threats in red text (this example shows the eicar test file located on Macintosh HD).
