WIN 7 machines

The new tab gives you options, but when you select one nothing opens (there is a running app (with "e" in the toolbar, but its useless)

I think it is due to the "minimal" setting being applied from the policy it is getting..

the more annoying part is when I update the policy....

Why doesn't a reboot (or 2) make the change on the client PC?

Yes, it seems to be due to "minimal" gui start mode. I've reported it to the development team so that the non-functional items are greyed out the same way as they are in silent mode.

This is with multiple reboots and over a day to update?!

 

If I manually change it at the client it seems to then stick??

 

This needs to be fixed...

 

 

I have checked to make sure there are no other policies applied to the client also...

For me changing the firewall mode worked immediately. I'd suggest you click the client in the Computer pane and select "Manage policies". If there are more policies applied, make sure the firewall mode setting has "Force" to the left of it instead of "Apply" that is in your screen shot. To make the agent connect ASAP to ERAS, click the computer name again and select "Send wake-up call".
