FriggGuðrún 5
When I update Smart Security on ANY computer, I've done at least 10 and I have about 100 more to do, I find that the scheduling adds back in all the default schedules - on top of all my custom stuff. So a bunch of stuff is being duplicated. How do I prevent SS from installing it's own default schedules when I do an upgrade of the software? ESET Insiders puff-m-d 120 Posted February 7, 2015 ESET Insiders Share Posted February 7, 2015 Hello FriggGuðrún,You may want to try to export ESET settings before doing the update and then after doing the update, import the settings back. I have done this in the past and it works for me so it should in your specific case also. You can find more information on this in the ESET KB Solution ID: SOLN3133 found here: hxxp://kb.eset.com/esetkb/index?page=content&id=SOLN3133HTH... Administrators Marcos 4,694 Posted February 7, 2015 Administrators Share Posted February 7, 2015 Default scheduled tasks are important, not sure what tasks you replaced with your own ones and what was different.
FriggGuðrún 5
Actually, importing the config only compounds the problem and causes the schedule to triplicate, scheduling SS to run everything three times concurrently.
