yongsua 16
Ha! See... That's why I hate Windows 8. It really has a huge administrative privilege issue. I have had "Access denied" issue when installing applications. The applications that I am installing would tell me they can't access this folder, that folder...blah blah blah... Error... How ironic that an admin doesn't have admin privilege to install application. Paskal, it seems you have some administrative privilege issue with Windows 8. Nothing to do with ESET, IMHO. I am actually struggling with this administrative privilege issue and want to get some help. Edited March 4, 2015 by yongsua
paskal 0
My problem has nothing to do with ESET? Do i have to reinstall Windows or it's useless?
yongsua 16
May I ask you one question? Was there any operating system installed before Windows 8 in your system?
paskal 0
I had Windows 8 and now Windows 8.1 on the same system.
yongsua 16
So how did you upgrade? I had my Windows 7 installed in my system before Windows 8.1. After installing Windows 8.1 with its online installer, I had a clean OS but the admin privilege issue has slowly risen up day by day after many Windows updates. I have not been able to access my Windows Metro Apps and also install some applications. Keep on getting issue with the Access is Denied. paskal 0
I have download W8.1 from W8 (Windows store) and I installed. Is there any solution?
yongsua 16
Need to wait for the moderator. I suggest a clean install of Windows 8.1 with no previous OS leftovers but I cannot guarantee it will solve your problem. Sorry.
paskal 0
My original OS is W8 and not W8.1 then it's impossible to have W8.1 alone.
yongsua 16
But do you have Windows 8.1 product key?
paskal 0
I had free upgrade toward W8.1, is the product key is the same than my W8?
yongsua 16
I can't assure this, you may need to ask at Windows 8 forum here: hxxp://www.eightforums.com/
