smart security ver 7

hi i brought smart security from the web site yesterday and it downloaded ver 7

i have tried to update but it says i have the latest version 7

 

as i have seen on the forum there is a version 8 so how do i update

and why was the latest version not downloaded from the web site

V8 hasn't been released as a program component update yet. There's always some gap between a vendor releases a new version of a product as a stand-alone installer and it becomes available as an upgrade from within the program.
