toomuchCPU 0
My NOD32 antivirus v8.0.301.0 uses 50% of my CPU. I'm running Windows 8.1 (64bit), Core i5-4210, 8GB RAM Solution was to disable the graphical user interface in the advanced setup
Super_Spartan 56
WOW! NOD32 just gets worse with every new version!
rugk 397
OK, but it isn't a good solution to have that bad interface now... Here is what it may look: Please reenable the graphical user interface and provide us with the following information: Does it always have 50% CPU usage or only sometimes? If sometimes on what actions does it happen? What VSD version do you use? Try to restart your computer. Does it happen again? Create a dump file of egui.exe and maybe also of ekrn.exe and PM it to a moderator. If you want to tray a temporary solution downgrade to v7 and look if the issue even happens there. (but only do this after you did the other steps) @MaXimus That is an issue. Of course this isn't normal. ESET NOD32 8 normally uses nearly 0% CPU usage if you aren't running a scan. Oh ok, I just formatted my laptop actually, I'll install it and report back so we can see if it's a problem related to his PC or NOD32 v8 itself. Please give meh some time
