Banking protection - white screen/page

Recommended Posts

Hello!

After switching to my new computer, Banking protection  stops working. It's always show just a white screen/page (see attachment).
It doesn't metter if i start it through url or from Banking Protection shortcut. Doesn't metter also if its as Administrator or not. It neither works on Edge nor Chrome.

I tried set all Eset's settings to default, but didn't solve my problem.

  • Eset Internet security ver 15.2.11.0
  • Edge ver 104.0.1293.63
  • Chrome ver 104.0.5112.102
  • Windows 11 Pro

Browsers and Windows are up to date.

Any tips or help?

Best regards.

Are you able to open a secure browser via the desktop shortcut? Does disabling "Secure all browsers" in the advanced BPP setup make a difference? What bank url did you open?

As I said before - I can open, but browser is still whole white (same as attachment in first post) and not even url bar.

No. Disabled or Enabled - doesn't make difference.

What bank url did you open?

For e.g.:

https://www.pekao24.pl/

Does the issue occur:
1, If you open the said website in a normal browser?
2, If you disable BPP and restart the browser, does the website open alright?

If so, please carry on as follows:

  1. Re-enable BPP with the browser closed
  2. Enable advanced logging under Help and support -> Technical support
  3. Launch your default browser and open the website to reproduce the issue
  4. Turn off logging
  5. Collect logs with ESET Log Collector and upload the generated archive here.

I can't upload logs here, because it's weight about 350 MB (limit is 100 MB). Do You accept some other ftp upload sites?
Or is there a way to omit limit?

You can upload the logs to a safe location, such as file sharing services OneDrive, Dropbox, etc. and then drop me a private message with a download link.

@Marcos any update on my problem?

@Aryaxcan you do one more log, please?

Enable BPP feature, download Process monitor and run (it will automatically capture logs)

Try to run Secured browser from desktop shortcut, or using SAB (it should run only white page with green frame)

Stop log capture and save it as .pml

If possible, do one more ELC log and please attach both logs there, or to some 3rd party service (or send me a message and I'll navigate you).

Thanks
