MCDOman 0
Hi Everyone.. I'm new ESET. I have been using Escan and thought of using ESET on my network. I have an identical client name (hostname) in each of my 20 networks . I manage to install one client with ESET using remote administration. however when I search another network I see the client I installed previously in the remote installer tab. (screen shot attached) Example- Host name IP Backroom 10.131.32.1 Backroom 10.131.33.1 Backroom 10.131.34.1 Backroom 10.131.35.1 how can I setup identical hostnames with deferent networks on ESET endpoint . Former ESET Employees MichaelA 3 Posted September 24, 2014 Former ESET Employees Share Posted September 24, 2014 Hello, You may be able to utilize SOLN707 located in kb.eset.com. I am curious, however, as the search checked does not represent the IP address (range) that it found. Can you please recreate another new search task to validate that the same IP address will show listed, though on a different network?
Arakasi 549
Its like, was this edited ? You created a new search, and set the subnet to 10.131.36 , but with only 1 lease of .001 (10.131.36.1) Are you sure you didnt have default search task selected when you clicked search, and then clicked after the fact on your range ? I'm confused but understand when you say : however when I search another network I see the client I installed previously in the remote installer tab. How lol ?
