You can try enabling the "Secure all browsers" option and see if it helps. Should the problem persist, please raise a support ticket with your local ESET distributor.

As for the performance issue, does it persist if you:
- uninstall ESET
- run the ESET Uninstall tool in safe mode
- install v15 from scratch.

V 12.2.30.0 was installed by Eset tech . Computer works fine as before. Just wondering is v14----better? I don't  know what version I had before. How can I find my last win 7 update. Microsoft has ended support some time ago.

ESET products v12 are not supported any more.

If v15 can be installed then it has passed a compatibility check and can be installed on your Windows 7.

It's working OK on my WIN7 pc, although there maybe a small memory leak that accumulates  as  my pc is always on apart from maintenance or if i'm away for a long period
