bd12 0
Hi folks, There was a similar (closed) thread, "Apple M1 Silicon Chip" , but this was reported with the Macbook Air. Not sure of the difference between the two... I'd like to report an installation error on a fresh Macbook Pro with Apple's new M1 silicon chip on Big Sur 11.1. I get past the expected prompt, as mentioned here. "This installer is intended for use with macOS versions: 10.12 - 11.0!" But I get an error shortly afterwards (attached file). Clicking either option makes the installation hang indefinitely and so I have to force quit.. Tried a few times. I hope this helps! Thanks for your time and effort Edited February 23, 2021 by bd12 rearranging content

This is a known issue which will be fixed in the next version scheduled for March.
