lllusion 0
Does Cyber Security Pro support/run on the new Apple M1 Silicon Chip? Does it properly translate through the Rosetta 2 emulator? When will ESET Cyber Security Pro be written with Universal code? TIA! Administrators Marcos 5,277 Posted November 16, 2020 Administrators Share Posted November 16, 2020 I'll try to find out if we have an Apple machine with that CPU and if ESET runs alright there with x86 emulation. jaybird14

Members jaybird14 0
For what it's worth, I have a MacBook Air with an M1 chip and it looks like it runs just fine on my machine. There is a weird close and reopen that happens when installing but that's been the case with any non-Universal app, so it looks like Rosetta 2 has done its job. I do hope a Universal Binary option is in the works (and with a Big Sur-compliant icon too!)
