Proper configuration for Veeam Server

This may be a basic question.  I am looking to install ESET on a Veeam Backup server.  Which product should I install on the server, and what folders/files should I exclude?

thank you for choosing ESET as your security provider.

As we speak of a server system I would recommend the ESET File Security for Microsoft Windows Server.

Once you deploy it, you will see if any exclusions are necessary.

This product offers Process exclusions so you may exclude the process(es) handling the backups so all actions performed by it /them will be excluded...
