ESET NOD32 Service does not start

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,

I am using ESET NOD32 for Linux Desktop version 4.0.95 under Fedora 31.
Since the update to Kerner 5.6.x the ESET service does not start anymore:

Does anyone else have the same problem or an idea what it might be?

A downgrade to kernel 5.5.x is not possible for other reasons.

Many greetings

Hello, everyone,

now it works again.

After a tip here in the forum I uninstalled and reinstalled the software several times.
At the first attempts I had problems with the activation, but this worked without problems at the fourth or fifth attempt.

Now my NOD32 runs also under Fedora 31 with kernel 5.6.x without problems.

Happy Easter and stay healthy at home

I thought it's not going to work as Fedora isn't supported by ESET v4 if I am not mistaken

It's good that you got it working.
