Mexonizator 0 Posted February 21, 2020 Posted February 21, 2020 (edited) Hello. Microsoft declared that all connections to AD are going to be forced to be secure starting from March. That means that only LDAPS or STARTLS will be available. But it seems ERA (7.1.717) still doesn't support these protocols. At least, there's no encryption in the AD connection settings. What Eset is planning to do about that? Is there going to be an update with that feature? Or, perhaps, the connection is already secure by default? Thanks. Edited February 21, 2020 by Mexonizator
ESET Staff MartinK 384 Posted February 21, 2020 ESET Staff Posted February 21, 2020 There should be no problem, at least according to our preliminary tests. ESMC is using more secure authentication even now, by default.
Mexonizator 0 Posted February 21, 2020 Author Posted February 21, 2020 Ok, that's reassuring to hear.
