RJensen 0 Posted February 14, 2020 Posted February 14, 2020 I am expanding my knowledge and understanding of malware analysis, and plan to start writing my own Yara (reference: https://virustotal.github.io/yara/) rules and wanted to know if ESET allows the inclusion of (or has any plans to do so) endpoint-customer Yara rules in its scans? A video I recently watch covering Yara Rules showed how ClamAV allowed the inclusion of Yara Rules; I was using ClamAV before I evaluated the AV market in 2015 and selected ESET for my IT organization, and for all my home computers. Thanks in advance to all the moderators herein.
Administrators Marcos 5,450 Posted February 15, 2020 Administrators Posted February 15, 2020 It's possible to use Yara rules within ESET Threat Intelligence but that's a separate paid service that provides advanced users with insight into our intel and it's not related to user's network in any way, it's global.
