joeyjo 0
I have recently had to upgrade SAGE software for Making Tax Digital but I have been told the reason I can't submit a VAT return on the SAGE software is because of my firewall. Any advice on how I allow SAGE to send VAT info to HMRC? Edited July 30, 2019 by joeyjo spelling
Administrators Marcos 4,909 Posted July 30, 2019 Administrators Share Posted July 30, 2019 Do you have ESET Internet Security installed? It contains a firewall which, however, allows all outgoing communication. Does pausing the ESET firewall actually or disabling protocol filtering in the advanced setup make a difference? When I was on the Sage web site, I received multiple alerts from uBlock Origin filter on FireFox about adware/tracking activities on the web site. Post a screen shot on any alerts from Eset it is generating while on the Sage web site. Edited July 30, 2019 by itman
joeyjo 0
Hi, thanks for your suggestions but in ESET there is no obvious Firewall. Went into set up / computer protection / web access pathway an disabled but still couldn't submit return. So now will look elsewhere for solution!
