Hijin25 12
Greetings. Since the program was updated to version 12.1.31.0 I have noticed that the windows event viewer registers two warnings each time I turn off my pc. The warnings are: Registration name: Application Source: Microsoft-Windows-User Profiles Service Date: 03/15/2019 03:38:08 a.m. Event ID: 1530 Task category: None Level: Warning Keywords: User: SYSTEM Team: Description: Windows has detected that other applications or services are still using the registry file. The file will now be downloaded. Applications or services that use it may not work correctly later. DETAIL - 2 user registry handles leaked from \ Registry \ User \ S-1-5-21-4285498516-1040772209-2525557891-1000: Process 1688 (\ Device \ HarddiskVolume2 \ Program Files \ ESET \ ESET Security \ eguiProxy.exe) has opened key \ REGISTRY \ USER \ S-1-5-21-4285498516-1040772209-2525557891-1000 Process 1688 (\ Device \ HarddiskVolume2 \ Program Files \ ESET \ ESET Security \ eguiProxy.exe) has opened key \ REGISTRY \ USER \ S-1-5-21-4285498516-1040772209-2525557891-1000 \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows NT \ CurrentVersion Registration name: Application Source: Microsoft-Windows-User Profiles Service Date: 03/15/2019 03:38:09 a.m. Event ID: 1530 Task category: None Level: Warning Keywords: User: SYSTEM Team: Description: Windows has detected that other applications or services are still using the registry file. itman 1,627
I just checked my Win 10 1809 Warning Event log entries and no such entries exist. Also those log entries are user profile related. Are you logged on under default limited admin account or a standard user account? What is your OS version?
Hijin25 12
Thanks for answering. My operating system is Windows 7 64 bits. And yes, I'm using an administrator account, it's the only one on my PC. Edited March 15, 2019 by Hijin25
