Marc Winter 0
Hello, I recently installed the ESMC Hyper-V Appliance along with a second Machine for the Mobile Device Connector (Downloads directly from ESET-Homepage). After setting up everything both machines show up with a warning stating that the OS needs to be updated. This seems a bit odd, as the detail screen shows that all Eset-Products on the systems are "newest version" and I see no way to update the operating-system (CentOS) on them. Could anybody point me to a way to get rid of these warnings? Thanks, Marc

This warnings is meant to inform users that operating system is not updated and it is completely unrelated to installed ESET software. In order to resolve this warning, you you update operating system -> this can be performed either manually or using ESMC client task "Operating system update". In either case I would recommend to perform snapshot of virtual machine. Also it should be possible to disable reporting of this state, configurable via ESET Management Agent configuration policy.
