pchan 0
In 6.6.2064, a notice was added to warn about unprotected wifi when you're connected to one. There was no way to disable/manage this in that client version or in 6.5 ERA. I looked at the change logs and release notes for 6.6.2072 and 7 and can't tell if this is something that can be disabled in the newer versions of the ESET client or ERA. Does anyone know if it can be disabled? Edited August 24, 2018 by pchan extra word
Administrators Marcos 4,707 Posted August 24, 2018 Administrators Share Posted August 24, 2018 It is possible to block connection to unsecured wi-fi to prevent this notification from being displayed. Do you plan to connect to unsecured wi-fi networks?
pchan 0
Hi, yes in our environment we allow connection to unsecure wifi network after registration of the device. It sounds like if we do want to connect to unsecure wifi, there is no way to disable that notice from coming up?
Nono 2
Hi There, I do not want to hijack this thread but my case sounds similar : I'll also be interesting to know where are the settings for this features. In my case, I more interested about the "weak wifi protection" popup and especially the trigger.
