Change ERA server name and IP

Recommended Posts

Hi, I'm doing a consult.
I have a virtualized ERA server over Windows server 2012. Actually I use windows agent 6.5 and EEAV 6.6. I have the agents deployed and my entire PC park is working fine.
Now, I'm going to make a change of AD Domain. The server will then change its name and IP address.
What are the previous steps that you recommend me to do to minimize the work required for my clients (agents) to be correctly configured after making the changes in my server?

Thanks for any tip.

Best regards!

Gabriel

Hello,

You can do this. create new policy for Eset Remote Administrator Agent

Go to Servers to connect to - Edit server list
Add new IP address on the top
Add old IP address bellow

Save It and apply fo all group

I would just do this ASAP well ahead of when you plan to make the change.  Any clients that are not on or otherwise don't receive this policy will require manually changing them.
