Will I be able to use ESS 7 if I buy ESS 5 or 6?

Some online sellers mention the ESS version they are selling. Does it really matter?

Do I get any new version that's released while my license is still active, or I can only use the version I purchased (5, 6, 7...)?

You're purchasing a license.

It can be used across any version, however the most up to date is recommended which for home is version 7

The license entitles you to download any version of the product you've purchased. However, we recommend always using the latest version which basically provides better protection and has bugs from previous versions fixed.

One more question - is the license international? I want to buy it from a German seller (online), but I don't live in Germany. Will I be able to get support in English?

Support is provided by the distributor from whom you purchased the license. If you move to another country, I assume it should be possible to contact the distributor and he will transfer you to your new local distributor.
