Blocking or deleting PSIPHON application

Hi,

In our school students and teachers use a portable application named PSIPHON which acts as a VPN and allows uncensored internet access.

This app doesn't need administrator privilege to run and the VPN connects automatically.

Is there an option in Eset endpoint security to enable a rule or something to search and delete this application. Or block the application from launching.

This application doesn't get installed, its a portable app.

It should be detected as a potentially unsafe application. This type of detection is disabled by default as it covers legitimate applications that can be misused for malicious purposes. You can enable detection at your discretion.

the application is detected as Potentially unsafe application so you can enable detection of those on your ESET Endpoints.

Thanks for the prompt response. We use ESET Remote administrator to deploy agents across devices. All students got tablets counts more than 1500. So if you could share the steps to configure in the ERA that would save a lot of time.
