Pete Riches 0 Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 I have just learned of the very worrying DoubleAgent zero day exploit. Articles here:https://cybellum.com/doubleagent-taking-full-control-antivirus/ And here: https://www.engadget.com/2017/03/21/doubleagent-attack-anti-virus-hijack-your-pc/ The authors claim that ESET (And many of the other big name anti-virus vendors) is vulnerable to this new danger which exploits the "Microsoft Application Verifier". Apparently so far only MalwareBytes and AVG have issued patches at this point. Can you reassure us that ESET is aware of the issue and is dealing with it as a matter of urgency? Keep up the good work!
